Hi, I’m Rhiannon - a self confessed geek girl living in Perth, Western Australia.
I’ve just started doing freelance work in the web development industry after finishing a Diploma in Web Development and General IT at the end of 2007.
I love playing and listening to music, watching science fiction shows and movies, photography and image editing, and pretty much anything that’s minutely related to technology and the internet. I’m an Apple Mac geek. I spend far too much time at my computer each and every day, and I’m currently looking at ways to improve my productivity so that I have more free time to do other things away from the computer. I think it’s important to strike that balance between real life and digital life.
My Gear
- Apple iMac 24″ 2.4GHz which I use as my media centre and photo editing
- Apple MacBook 2.2GHz (white) which is my production computer for web development
- Gaming PC - E6600, Gigabyte DS3, 7900GT - Not used nearly as much as it used to be
- Apple iPod Photo 20GB used in disk mode for backup purposes
- Apple iPod Touch 16GB used for music and videos on the go
- Lexicon Omega connected via USB to the iMac, used as my DAC and headphone amp
- Audio Technica AD700 headphones used for critical music listening and gaming
- Pentax K100D Digital SLR Camera + Sigma 18-50mm f/3.5-5.6 Lens
Slice of the Internet
As of October, 2007, reemixx.com became my official slice of world wide web real estate. I look forward to the growth this place will undergo in the future. It’s already starting to feel like home. For now, however, I’m just getting my footing in this whole blogging deal, so I’ve a little experimenting to do.
