  3. I’ve got the Capsule Rebel case in red and have to say, it’s a nice looking case. Doesn’t add much additional bulk, though just enough so that it doesn’t fit in my holster case anymore, so I’m thinking about getting another holster that is a bit bigger. I’m reluctant to put the phone in my pocket after somehow cracking the screen on my old phone in the past doing that.

Do you find that the power button is harder to press with the case on? The phone stays on most of the time, and is set to auto-lock within 1 minute, so this isn’t a big problem, but it does seem like the power button takes a lot more of a conscious effort to work, though it might just be my phone.

I’m using an invisible shield from zagg on the front btw, which also works really well.

  4. MRK: Regarding the sleep button being hard to press, try re-seating the soft part of the case on the iPhone, and putting the hard-shell part of the case on from the top first, making sure the sleep button clicks down okay before putting the entire case on. Happened to me a couple of times, taking the case off and starting again fixed the problem.

  5. remixx: Thanks for the info. Tried that, and it seems a little better than before. Also managed to pick up a new holster which fits the iPhone with the case on perfectly, though I don’t think it’s designed specifically for the iPhone as such.

The other thing I’ve noticed after using this phone for a couple of days, is that the the plastic cover for the USB connector also comes off relatively easily, and will probably get lost before long.

It’s also quite easy to try and force this on the wrong way, and could potentially damage the USB connector.

Despite these minor issues, the case is still nice :-)

  6. MRK: Odd, my plastic port cover is fine. Fits well and has never fallen off. Probably slight differences in them during manufacturing. Or might even be the iPhone itself. All things considered, it’s still something most other cases don’t even have.

  7. Hey MRK, which Holster did you get to fit your iphone with the rebel case?
