Blogging from the iPhone
I’ve finally updated my version of Wordpress to the latest one, which means I can now blog directly from my iPhone using the Wordpress app that is available on the App Store for free. The app itself seems like a really good solid app (from what I can gather since this is my first time ever using it). That said, I don’t know how often I’ll be blogging on the go since the iPhone’s keyboard doesn’t compare to a regular keyboard, but it’s definitely nice to have the option.
Does the iPhone version have the ability to save a draft while in the process of writing a post?
Yup, it surely does. They get saved in your local drafts folder. You can also preview the post before it gets published, as well as add photos, though the current version uploads photos at 640 x 480 and posts a medium sized thumbnail. I’m hoping in a future release we’ll be able to have photos of any size without thumbnails.
