For a while now, I’ve been thinking about changing the direction of this blog. I considered making it more focussed on technology related areas, such as Apple, computers, software, tips and tricks, reviews, etc. After thinking long and hard about this, I’ve decided to do (almost) the opposite. This blog began as a personal blog, a place where I could write about topics that interested me. Somewhere along the way, it became a little detached and lacked the personal touches that I intended to place in my writing. As a result, I’ve begun to enjoy it less. Well, I’ve made some decisions about that to try to turn things around. continue »
Organising Your Online Life ( 3 )

Like many other web geeks, I’ve found myself using a whole bunch of web applications on a daily basis, such as Flickr, Twitter, Pownce, YouTube, Digg, and Last.fm, just to name a few. I also use Gmail for multiple email accounts, and have a bunch of RSS feeds to manage. This is all well and good, but it can get a little disorganised and inefficient when you’re using desktop clients for some of them, such as Twitterific for Twitter and NetNewsWire for RSS, and your web browser for others such as Flickr and YouTube. Plus there’s the need to check updates on multiple web-based social services constantly, for example, FaceBook, Twitter, Pownce, etc. Surely there’s a better way?! continue »

Nine Inch Nails have done something awesome. Again. Their new studio album titled Ghosts I-IV was released on March 2nd. It’s a 36 track album and completely instrumental. But you won’t find it in stores. The album is free from the clutches of evil record label contracts, and NIN have put it up for sale on their website. continue »
I recently purchased the Yuin PK3 earbuds after searching long and hard for some portable headphones for my iPod Touch and MacBook. I came across the Yuin PK3 after scrolling through Head-Fi and my local headphone store’s website, Headphonic. The PK3 has received a lot of good feedback from a lot of people and they’re even better than I expected them to be. continue »
Should You Buy a Mac? ( 2 )

Macs sure are getting popular these days. I’ve found myself giving advice to people lately who’ve been asking which computer they should buy, and whether they should try out a Mac. A lot of people are hesitant about making the ‘Switch’, and rightly so. A Mac is different to a PC. It’s a completely different experience. It does the same things but in a different way. So, for those wondering about whether they should make the Switch, here’s a list of questions to ask yourself to help you decide. continue »

Recently I’ve been catching up on a bunch of episodes of my favourite video podcast, The Totally Rad Show. I’ve seen a few previous episodes where the trio reviewed some comic books and graphic novels, and it sparked an interest. continue »
Belkin Leather Folio for iPod Touch - Review ( 1 )

Since the iPod Touch has been released in Australia, there have been very few cases available for it. For the few cases that are available, finding information on them has been extremely hard. So, I thought I’d write a short review on the Belkin Leather Folio case that I recently purchased. continue »
For the people who know me, you’ll also know my opinion on the Xbox. Since the original was first released, I always proclaimed I would never, ever, purchase one… That Microsoft should keep their nose out of console gaming… continue »
